Supply and Demand Lawyer Edition

What happens when the supply of new lawyers increases while the demand for new lawyers falls?

Apparently, some law school grads aren't too happy with their schools: "He is one of dozens of law students who have gone public, very public, to chastise the schools they elected to attend for leaving them older and poorer." Maybe they should require a few econ classes in order to get into law school.

  1. This is reminds me of all the people moving to LA and NY to make it big. There are too many starving actors already. Apparently now there will be starving lawyers too. We will just call them all waiters.

  2. If it wasn't for the audible I called at the line of scrimmage (attending Owen), I believe I would also be among that group of irate students. Fortunately, the scholarship supplements left me less poor and these braces I got months back keep them guessing as to my age. I do think it (the vast supply and weak demand for new lawyers) needs to be address more effectively by those in administration and career services. Don't get me wrong, I value the legal education I received from Ohio State but I didn't drudge through 3 years of the Socratic Method to make what I could have made before I started there in 2007.
