  1. Another possibility is that human brains are pre-wired to see price as signals of future trade value.... so when they see prices listed as he listed them, they take the option that makes them think they are getting the highest value?

    Anyway, often, when people list irrationalities in human behavior, instead I tend to see irrationalities in what the researchers consider 'rational behavior.'
