I think the average wait was five minutes, most of it to see the triage nurse.<br><br>This past year I went to the same emergency room with a massive stomach infection. I went home after five hours and eventually the pain went away.. During that time people were wheeled into the ER from ambulances, but of the ten or so walk-ins with me in the waiting room only one did, and half went home before I did. <br><br>I can tell you I was the only native English speaker in the group, and probably the only one with insurance.John Costellonoreply@blogger.com
