Why is Alibaba worth $162B?

Because it moves assets to higher valued uses, from B2B.

Planet Money has another episode that is making me rethink my opposition to subsidies for Public Radio.

One thing I like about the podcast is the description of how business used to be done in China, with drinking and karaoke, as a solution to the problem of adverse selection.

  1. B2B is not easy to be used, the main element which works is how smartly you play in this complex market and following this tactic has brought Alibaba this much higher.

  2. It has many reason behind this, but personally I prefer to stay away from this, as it’s very complicated and been a small trader, I am better off at currency pairs especially since I get 100% support from my broker OctaFX whether it’s with their daily market analysis updates or if it’s with their rebate program to give me 15 dollars profits per lot size trade even on losing, so that’s why I prefer them and that makes me very much comfortable.
